UW Bothell Excels at Annual CFA Research Competition

Anastasiya Fritch, Brian Hsu, Kilian Larose, Andrew Weiss, and Phung Vo – all business administration seniors – represented the School at the annual research challenge competition organized by the Seattle chapter of the CFA Institute.

Anastasiya Fritch shared part of her journey with UW Bothell Business School. She shared, “This was a very challenging undertaking, above and beyond any previous project experience I’d had. It grew my confidence to set more advanced goals for myself and accelerated my personal growth.”

澳门赌场ir experience wasn’t just about winning a competition; it was about personal and professional growth. “澳门赌场 aspects of analyzing, extracting, and presenting information in an influential way cemented my career trajectory,” said Anastasiya.

But success wasn’t solitary. “Connecting with our mentors on a personal and professional level was a unique experience,” she added. Derek Leonard from Morgan Stanley was instrumental as a mentor, guiding us not just through the project but also offering valuable insights for our larger life and career journeys. Andrea Anthony, PhD, a finance assistant teaching professor, dedicated much time and guidance to this team.

For the team, collaboration was key. “A key lesson from this experience is that moving forward, I will set larger and higher goals for myself. Although a cliché, an effective team truly is greater than the sum of its parts,” she emphasized.

I was able to refine my ability to recognize and elevate team members’ unique skill sets, which was vital to the team’s success.”
