Elizabeth Byrne, PSD Division Coordinator
Liz provides administrative assistance to the Chair of the Physical Sciences Division and coordinates a variety of processes related to the life of the division.
Background
Liz is an artist with a background in museum collection management, art conservation, and administrative support. She received a bachelor’s in fine arts from Bennington College and a master’s in museum studies from Harvard. She moved from Boston to Bothell nine years ago with her husband and rescue dog. She finds inspiration by exploring the mountains, islands and beautiful natural landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.
Job responsibilities
- Support the Physical Sciences Division Chair
- Prepare PSD faculty meeting minutes
- Maintain the division Canvas site
- Coordinate the hiring of student employees
- Coordinate the course evaluation process for division faculty
- Assist the division chair with reports and scheduling
- Update the division website and the Jaffe Group website
- Coordinate purchasing for the Jaffe Research Lab
- Edit papers and proposals for the Jaffe Group
